Okay, this is actually starting to feel a bit surreal. Early this morning, I was checking my ranking (yes - I'm addicted to it; rank-checking is a form of crack for authors), and I saw this for the The Dumb Bitch:
So I actually made the Top 20 in two categories, which put me on the first page of the rankings. Needless to say I feel blessed and am very humbled by the fact that so many readers seem to be enjoying my books. This is really a lot more than I expected, but I'm thankful that my work is being so well-received. (Of course, that also increases the pressure to make the next book just that much better, because now there are expectations to be met. Let's hope I'm up to the challenge.)
Thank you, everyone, for all your support, and again, if you want to be notified when I release new books, please subscribe to my mailing list: http://eepurl.com/bGbgR1

(And just FYI, I should mention that the second book in the series, A Ratchet City Tale 2: Dee's Story, also broke into the Top 100 last night:
Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #6,302 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top
100 Paid in Kindle Store)
#93 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Literature &
Fiction > African American > Women's Fiction
#97 in Books > Literature & Fiction > African American
> Women's Fiction
#184 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Literature &
Fiction > African American > Urban
It really is surreal, and I keep expecting someone to wake me up. On second thought, please don't...)
